Mark, as a private practitioner I have concentrated on the areas in which I have the most training and experience. Children and adolescents who are having difficulties whether they be at home, at school, or within the community are a group that I find challenging and have enjoyed success. Throughout my years in private practice, I have expanded to working with individual adults dealing with any number of life issues. Finally, I have worked with couples or at least one partner when their issues have placed a strain upon their families and their entire marriage. I am a strong believer in cognitive behavioral therapy and have found most success with relatively hands-on and short-term interventions.
